The Alexandra District Hospital (ADH) in Central Victoria provides integrated surgical and acute medical services in addition to the co-located community health services — offering a vastly improved environment for patients and staff.

The single storey building is located on vacant land to the east of the existing hospital site and has outstanding views to the neighbouring hills.

​

Design features include: utilising ESD principles to minimise environmental impact, allowing for future expansion and employing bush fire resistant design elements.

​

Facilities include new acute beds, an emergency unit, operating suites, day stay facilities, community health facilities as well as radiology, pathology and administration facilities. In addition, a new three-vehicle Alexandra Ambulance Service is co-located on the south-east corner of the new hospital site.
