Kurmile Primary School, an integral part of the Officer Brunt Road Education Precinct, forms part of a comprehensive three-school masterplan located on a greenfield site in Officer, Victoria. The project narrative was to interconnect the education precinct with shared sporting and community amenities.

Kurmile Primary School comprises of five newly constructed buildings and extensive landscaping to cater to 650 students. These facilities include a new administration building with library and staff spaces, specialised learning facilities for art, STEM, and food technology, as well as two general-purpose learning buildings with a total of eight classrooms and a central shared library and breakout collaborative area.

 

The school features a new gymnasium; including dual competition basketball and netball court, a canteen with cooking facilities, and music classrooms equipped with a raised stage. These amenities are designed to enhance the overall educational experience and foster a vibrant sense of community.
