EAST LODDON P-12 COLLEGE
NEW STEAM BUILDING
East Loddon P-12 College, located in Dingee, Victoria, is a vibrant and inclusive co-educational school serving students from Years Prep to 12. Positioned approximately 50 kilometres north of Bendigo, the College supports the educational needs of local regional communities. With a recent enrolment of around 125 primary and 150 secondary students, East Loddon functions as an essential community hub, emphasising educational excellence and strong community engagement.
Tectura’s project delivered a key part of the school’s overall masterplan by partially demolishing, extensively refurbishing and extending the existing Block F into a new STEAM learning building; which includes new Science, Technology and Art teaching and learning spaces as well as home economics practical learning spaces opening out to an external north facing courtyard café/seating area. These facility upgrades provide teachers and students with enhanced learning spaces that foster educational excellence and engagement. They support the school’s commitment to delivering high-quality, inclusive education for its diverse regional community.
Additional light refurbishment works were also undertaken to the administration building, middle school and gymnasium including installation of new carpet, vinyl flooring and repainting, to improve functionality and comfort.
East Loddon P-12 College has recently been recognised for its strong academic performance, including outstanding VCE results, which have been driven by a supportive school culture and strong community connections. The upgraded spaces will further empower students and staff to continue this positive trajectory.
Located within the Premier of Victoria’s electorate, East Loddon P-12 College was honoured with a visit from Jacinta Allan MP, Premier of Victoria, who officially opened the new facilities. This visit underscored the State Government’s commitment through the Victorian School Building Authority to invest in regional education infrastructure ensuring that regional students have access to safe, modern, and inspiring learning environments that prepare them for future success.
