The aim of the iSight Clinic is to create a sustainable and effective community-based health service that provides high quality eye care facilities to meet the current health delivery standards for the needs of the Townsville community.

Through a process of operational mapping and analysis, a highest-value clinical practices strategy was developed which resulted in a more integrated, efficient and flexible work flow design of circulation spaces.

The space planning is driven by a practice model of constant communication, high visibility and interaction with clinicians and specialists that results in specialists who can attend to multiple patients simultaneously, as well as patients who can receive multiple tests over shorter periods of time, resulting in increased patient satisfaction.

The iSight Clinic will include administrative areas, clinical suites, a medical suite comprising consulting and treatment spaces and patient and staff amenities, along with associated car parking, landscaped areas and infrastructure.
