The new Dental Health Clinic complements an integrated approach to healthcare. The clinic, located within the Melton Health Service, is family orientated and offers a professional environment in which dental students can develop as professionals while providing a much-needed community service.

The clinic includes 12 dental chairs — with ten allocated as student teaching chairs supervised in conjunction with La Trobe University — and two public chairs, plus a dental laboratory and dental support areas.

The overall architectural design creates a physical environment that promotes client and staff wellbeing and encourages efficient work practices, as achieved through the use of natural light, connections to the external environment and a clear way-finding system.
