The Oakleigh Community Centre includes teaching and learning areas and client amenities purpose-designed for people with disabilities.

The building’s design allows for community groups to utilise the facilities after hours, and employs ESD principles as demonstrated by: effective orientation to maximise the northern aspect to courtyards and open spaces; enhanced solar warmth to create a comfortable environment for client activity spaces; and scenic views to the adjacent parkland.
