A proposal for a General Medical Centre in Sochi, Russia was prepared for a public/private partnership bid for the development of facilities for the 2014 Winter Olympics. In addition to general medical, surgical and emergency response facilities, the proposal included a specialist sports medicine clinic and research unit.
