SPORTS PRECINCT HOTEL DEVELOPMENT

Incorporating the Ice Rink Design for the Erzurum 2011 Winter University Games, Tectura developed a proposal for a masterplan of the sports precinct for the games, including hotel accommodation and infrastructure for the city of Erzurum.

The sports precinct is central to the development, which combines three ice rink stadiums on open-space parkland. Hotels, retail areas, and medium-density housing surround the sports precinct, with much of the plan taking into consideration the future development of the regional capital city.
