The refurbishment of the Williamstown Cricket Ground Pavilion allows sports players, spectators and sporting associations to enjoy new facilities.

The extension at the rear of the grandstand — developed as a commercial function centre which boasts magnificent views of Port Phillip Bay and the cricket ground — interfaces with the coastal foreshore.

Involving extensive community consultation, the project required sensitivity to the existing architectural language, a commitment to improving universal access, an ESD strategy and integration of the rear of the site with the coastline and pedestrian and cyclist access.
